Carpenter’s Union - Christmas Dinner & Family Board Game Night
For the 3rd year in a row the Carpenter’s Union will be hosting a Christmas Dinner for those who may need a little holiday treat or retreat. Last year (‘06) we had our carpenters stranded out of town due to the winter weather and in (‘05) approximately 20 neighborhood children joined union members, their families and neighborhood volunteers for dinner. Some residents stopped by for dessert and coffee. Not ready to make it an early night, out came the board games. Our children were tickled to learn how to play board games, or learn new board games, make new friends and have the attention of the adults.
