Lynda Callon, director of the Westside CAN Center, has been working in the Latino community of Kansas City since 1992. Her extensive, in-depth knowledge of Latin culture has given her a unique perspective enabling her to establish cultural and communication bridges between groups where none may have existed before. As a result, things get done. She is articulate, extremely well-informed about the complex issues facing communities and addresses them with humor and insight.
