Old Fashioned Family Fall Festival
Festival Activities will take place on the lawn of the Ruiz Branch Library and Tony Aguirre Center
Saturday October 25th, 2008
11AM – 3 PM

Seeking Donations of:
Food
- Apple juice or apple cider, Halloween candy, apples, caramel (to make caramel apples)
Other Items
- Straw, dowels and scrap lumber for frame and stands (to make scarecrow building), burlap, plain pillow cases (white, yellow, beige)
- Scarecrow appropriate ensembles/garb/clothing and accessories (hats, gloves, belts etc.)
- Craft supplies for pumpkin painting and decorating and making faces for scarecrows and decorating pumpkins (goggle eyes, glitter, felt scraps, pipe cleaners, beads, etc), small bean bags for toss games
Volunteers
- Help kids with making a scarecrow (work in teams)
- Direct games - 3 legged race, spoon race, orange relay, beanbag toss, etc.
- Help in kitchen if necessary (making candy apples, handing out apple juice/cider
- Help planning this event
